That guy giving the toast is Oscar-winner Jack Albertson. He also starred in the hit NBC show “Chico and the Man’ with the late Freddie Prinze, Freddie Prinze, Jr.’s father.

@ EVERYONE WHO ISN’T zippythewildone, yet feels he wronged you somehow:
LEAVE THE POOR GUY ALONE! HE POSTED A VIDEO HE LIKED VERY MUCH. It is HIS opinion, HIS channel, HIS likes/dislikes that HE is sharing with YOU! If YOU disagree, that’s ok. IF YOU can do better, start YOUR own channel and post videos YOU like!

What a stupid title for a video- especially when the title does not match the description.

@cuteycindyhoney Dude, you haven’t been paying attention to anything I’ve said. I was making a comparison. I said “That’s like saying Harry Potter is better than War and Peace.” That statement implies that it is my opinion. I never said that my opinion is better than yours, I only attempted to support my opinion.
I don’t know why your acting so offended, I was just expressing my opinion.

The only way I’ll get a bomb shelter, If my all my friends and family has one. I wouldn’t want to come out and see all my friends and family body laying on the streets. You will come out being the only people on earth.

At the end of his life, the deadliest gunfighter of the Old West is given a choice: Hell or redemption. He chooses redemption and God’s Archangel transports him to modern day Los Angeles to serve bloody, frontier justice on the worst dregs of society.

This reminds me very strongly of Robert Heinlein’s Farnham’s Freehold (1964).

@zippythewildone Do you know what opinion means? It is your opinion about the intellectual level of the episode “Night of the Meek”. You seem to think that your OPINION carries more weight then mine. This is not true. In night of the Meek, becoming the ‘real’ Santa is an allegory. The poor man rose above his position, and became able to help ease some of the desperation in others. He wanted nothing for himself at all. He just wanted to help others. In MY opinion, this is a beautiful story.

@cuteycindyhoney Have you even been reading my comments? I’m not saying anything about my opinion being more valuable than anyone else’s. I’m saying the the intellectual quality of Night of the Meek is not comparable to other Twilight Zone episodes.
And Twilight Zone isn’t just a damn TV show, it’s survived the test of time it’s a classic.

This is certainly a good episode. I wouldn’t have listed it as the best, but hey, everybody’s got a right to their opinion. Thank you for posting this episode.

Hey, that guy giving the toast is Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka.

@zippythewildone Well, I’m so sorry! I guess you’re right. Whatever you say is the best HAS to be right!
(Oh, grow up already. It’s a damn TV show!)

TWILIGHT ZONE IS AWESOME!

@cuteycindyhoney I never said you don’t have a right to like one episode over another. If your bothered to review what I said originally you would see that I said, “That’s like saying Harry Potter is better than War and Peace.” I DID NOT say “That’s like preferring Harry Potter over War and Peace.”
I don’t care what you like, but your claim that it’s the best (not the one you like the best, but THE BEST) is silly.

@zippythewildone I have watched every surviving episode of “The Twilight Zone” My brother lent me the whole DVD collection.
Just who the hell are you to say I can’t have an opinion on which one I like best?
@cuteycindyhoney I was not referring to your proclamation that “Night of the Meek” was the best Christmas program ever, but rather your claim that it was the best Twilight Zone episode. Twilight Zone has released hundreds of episodes many of which are on par with classical literature in their unique confrontation of bizarre scenarios which make us as humans question the way we see the world. But you think a cheesy Christmas episode about Santa Claus is the best one. That’s laughable.

@zippythewildone What brought that on? Are you saying I’m not allowed to have an opinion on what I think is a good Christmas program?

@cuteycindyhoney That’s like saying Harry Potter is better than War and Peace ><

” Its a good life” was much better. It had an amazing amount of terror without all that CGI that directors depend on so much nowadays
